Our comprehensive training courses are designed to keep you ahead in the beauty industry, crafted by expert educators to equip you with the essential knowledge and skills for success. As you prepare for your course, please remember to read the training manual beforehand, as it’s crucial to your learning experience. Let embark on this exciting path together!

Please read the Terms and conditions carefully

  1. All course fees are non-amendable and non-refundable.

  2. A deposit is payable in advance to reserve your place on the course unless paid in full.

  3. The course must be paid in full before the course starts.

  4. All payments must be cleared in our accounts before we teach. If you book a course last minute online we need to ensure funds are with us and can sometimes take 5 plus business days. We monitor all bookings and payments. If there are any issues or delays we will be in touch. If the payment haven't cleared we will offer you an alternative date.

  5. If you have used Klarna or clear pay we need the funds with us before we can proceed to teach the course booked. This is monitored our end and can sometimes take up to 2 weeks for us to receive the payment. We advise booking in advance if you wish to use the buy now pay later options. BNPL is a form of credit. You will be able to see their T and C's on their web site. We do not work for Klarna or clear pay, we have the service linked at our check out to allow you to choose flexible re payments. All funds must be cleared by the BNPL providers before the courses go ahead with us, if there is a delay we will need to change the date of your course. 

  6. If you have used Clearpay or Klarna as a method of payment please note there are no refunds or exchanges.

  7. If you send a direct message to us via what app/messenger or any social media channels last minute to change the date of the course, this will be passed to our head educator to review. We also take no responsibility in chasing clients as our T and C's state All course fees are non refundable and non-amendable.

  8. We do not monitor instagram, Facebook, emails and messages 24/7, the best form of contact is directly through our contact form. We cannot promise you will get a response from social media platform as messages and comments sometimes get lost and go into the request folders. We also receive 100's of calls and messages daily and it's impossible to monitor, we do not promise a response this way. We have set days and times during the working week to respond to enquires. Please allow 7-10 working days.

  9. Classes will commence promptly at the time stated. Tutors are not responsible if you are late to the session for any reason. It is also your responsibility to bring a model/s to the course. In some cases, we may be able to help if you have travelled far from home or if you have booked Skin Care courses, we may prefer our own models to ensure there are no contraindications. 

  10. If for any reason in extreme circumstances we need to cancel your course, we will move your place to the next available course. Some courses only run once a month. We do not offer refunds due to course content being part of the cost of the course.

  11. If any student behaves improperly on the premises, either before or during an assessment, or damage or removes any equipment belonging to the tutor or salon, they will be asked to leave immediately, and there will be no refund of fees.

  12. Throughout the course you may be required to carry out several practical treatments on a model away from the academy. You must understand that you will be required to provide your own model, and this is a necessary requirement in order to complete the course and successfully pass. Some courses require numerous case studies before

  13. In some cases, the course may come with a Kit. It is your responsibility to bring the kit to class on every session needed and to keep the items with you during the day. Kits may vary in brand and price. Kits can be purchased on the day of the course if we have the stock available.

  14. Photos and videos are NOT to be taken of the session unless the trainer gives you permission. You can take photos or videos of your own work, we also need consent from the model. We ask no recordings of the tutor whilst training.

  15. The Tutor will take images on the day, and these may be used on our social media platforms for marketing purposes. If you are brining your own model, please explain images may be posted on social media.

  16. Fees are non-refundable if the course is interrupted or cancelled beyond our control.

  17. Please make use of our self-service area to bottled water. Breaks times will be provided on the day. There is also no smoking or vaping on the premises. Please ask if you need a break.

  18. We will not be responsible for damage or injury costs for incorrect application or misuse of products supplied. Please make sure all course material is read before you arrive for practical training.

  19. Starter kits may vary in brand and prices if you have purchased one. We use a number of suppliers. we cannot be responsible if the supplier have seasonal or promotional offers on.

  20. Kit lists will be provided on the day of your course, you must always follow the guidelines and advice from the brand you wish to use after the course is complete. 

  21. We cannot be liable for any parking charges if they occur. We are a 10 minute walk from Skewen Train station and a 5-minute drive from junction 44 off the M4. There is off road parking in the village.

  22. It is your responsibility to read the manuals in full before the face-to-face session as Our courses are focused on hands-on practical experience. 

  23. Please wear appropriate clothing to the course, scrubs are preferred, sensible closed shoes and wear your hair tied back. No jumpers or jeans.

  24. Please note our prices and course content are subject to change this also includes accreditation bodies.

  25. If you do not receive any expected emails, please contact us at your earliest convenience so that we can ensure we have all the correct details for you and try to resend anything you need with enough time prior to your course.

  26. Please ensure we have the correct spelling of your name for your certificate. Replacement certificates are £15

  27. You will have support after your training however this support is not 24/7 and indefinitely. Some courses will require plenty of practice after the course to perfect and refine your skills. You will need to gain insurance and practice first hand. No refunds are available due to your inability to perform the treatment or change in your circumstances or the course not meeting your own personal expectations. Everyone has differing learning abilities. 

  28. Please advise the company of any Disabilities or Additional Learning Requirements you may have prior to your course. This is to allow us to assist you in your chosen subject. 


  29. All our courses are accredited however we please note we have numerous accredited providers for our courses. 

  30. It is your responsibility to obtain your own insurance once you have successfully completed the course giving all accurate information to the insurance provider. We are here to provide the course only and do not provide insurance or quotes or to advise on licensing details.

  31. On occasion we may reduce prices of the course. On these occasions you will not be eligible for these special offer prices. Similarly, if you have paid an early bird booking price, we will not charge you more if we sell the other places at full price. From time to time, we run special promotional offers. These are only valid for customers at that time and are time and quantity limited and cannot be backdated. On times we will offer a free kit, for example the first 2 students to sign up to a particular date. This will not automatically mean you are eligible to a free kit.

  32. We do not accept any responsibility for any one’s belongings whilst on site. This includes personal equipment or any vehicles that are brought to our site.

  33. If we need to cancel a training course, we will not be held liable for transportation, accommodation, loss of earnings or any other associated costs.

  34. If you book the teaching course there will be a zoom call arranged to see if you are fully suitable for this course. A number of questions will be asked by us to see if you are eligible to teach. We require images of your work, accredited certificates and images of your work place. The length of time of qualification will be taken into consideration along with experience. Our educators will come to a decision together once all information is supplied. 

  35. We make all our students aware we have CCTV at the salon.

  36. We may pass your details onto providers who we work alongside. Such as 4t medical for kit recommendations and for you to be able to set up accounts with suppliers.

  37. The ultimate Skin course has numerous facial techniques, these may be shown alongside or within the same facials. For example, dermaplane and micro needling can be carried out together. The trainer/practitioner will explain this to you during the Training session and some training protocols will be sent via email such as carboy therapy unless you book this as a stand alone 121 training masterclass.

  38. Some courses require numerous protocols, if we feel you need more practice or time to complete, we ask you to come back another day to complete. If you do not turn up to this we may not offer another day for training.

  39. No course material should be shared with anyone after you have complete the course. The course material is for your use only. 

  40. You are not permitted to share, copy, or distribute any manuals or training materials, resources or protocols. 

  41. You are not permitted to teach , share, attempt to to train friends, family or any third party in treatments you have learned with us.

  42. You are not permitted to present our training content as your own.

  43. We use a number of professional brands when we train, however we do not work for or neither are we affiliated with any other training schools or companies even if we use their brand and protocols to teach you.

  45. If you book  any of the Nail tech courses we will be in touch with training times for models depending on your skills. Not everyone  training is a beginner and we set the training and model times depending on what is being taught. 

  46. All courses require you to bring a model unless we state we have models. We mainly only do this for skin care to allow no contraindications to treatment.

  47. We run makeup masterclass courses, please note the prices may vary depending on the person taking the course and if the courses is a group session or a 121. We also take into consideration what kit we will be using depending on the students age, for example if we have a school leaver attending the course, we may use a deluxe kit including premium brands such as Dior, Nars etc, these sessions are completely different to the under 16's summer sessions available at Sota. The aspiring mua course is not accredited and has been put together based on a fun relaxed learning environment. The sessions may be broken into a number of days depending on availability especially if we are supplying models, you will receive confirmation for this. Please note its non refundable if the course don't meet your expectations. 

  48. If you have booked onto a head spa course through Japanese head spa please note we do not work for this company we are just an affiliated trainer for them in our area. Direct contact and all ongoing support must go through Japanese head spa directly, we only supply the training. 

  49. If you have booked and paid via Klarna or clear pay an additional 5% of the training cost is added as a booking fee on the day of the training. This needs to be paid before the training will commence.

  50. After school beauty club runs on a Monday and Tuesday, if any students miss any classes unfortunately the session cannot be added on at the end, these are 4 weekly programmes.
