START FROM SCRATCH SKIN COURSE

Our Start From Scratch Skin Course has been designed for anyone wanting to begin a career in professional skin therapy or for beauty therapists looking to confidently move into advanced skin treatments. We understand that starting your journey into skin can feel overwhelming, which is why this course takes you through the essential knowledge, skills and confidence needed to work safely and effectively with clients. Rather than simply teaching treatments, we focus on helping you understand the skin, recognise common concerns and create personalised treatment plans based on each client's individual needs. Before your practical training, you will complete our online theory covering skin anatomy and physiology, consultation techniques, skin analysis, common skin concerns, contraindications, health and safety, treatment planning and aftercare. You will then join us for two days of hands-on practical training at our academy, where you will develop your confidence and technique in a supportive learning environment. During the course, you will learn four popular skin treatments: Dermaplaning – Safe treatment protocols, contraindications, aftercare and how to improve skin texture and radiance. Chemical Peels – Understanding professional peeling systems and how they can target concerns such as ageing skin, pigmentation, acne and uneven skin tone. Microneedling – The science behind collagen induction therapy, treatment techniques, client suitability and achieving improved skin quality. By the end of the course, you will have the knowledge and confidence to assess skin, recommend treatments and create effective treatment plans. Successful completion of your theory and practical assessments will earn you four certificates, with ongoing support from our academy as you continue your journey in the skin industry.
